Wanda Fay Cook

Wanda Fay Cook age 68, of Clinton, TN passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born May 13, 1958 in New River, TN to the late Grover and Idell Maggard.

Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. To keep herself busy she enjoyed reading, sewing and cross stitch. Wanda retired as dedicated nurse from Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

Along with Wanda’s parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Doyle Cook, and granddaughter Layla Dotson.

Wanda is survived by her daughters Melissa St. Claire, Brenda Cook, and Catina Seiber and husband Joey; grandchildren Tyler Eavey, Lea Eavey, Dustin Eavey, Alicia Eavey, Mikayla Cook and Shayla Cook. She also leaves behind several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Wanda will be Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm with her funeral service to follow at 7:00pm all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Graveside service will be Thursday, July 16, 2026 10:00am at Jarnigan Chapel cemetery in Clinton, TN.
