Wanda Faye Burton

Wanda Faye Burton age 77 of Lake City, TN passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Tennova Lafollette Health and Rehab Center in Lafollette, TN. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed watching T.V. and eating out with her family. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Ed, and Nancy Oma Worthington; husband, Johnny Edward Burton; brothers, Robert Braden, Earl Braden, and James Braden; sisters, Fannie Daniels, Victoria Clevenger, Patsy Jackson, and Shelby Gilliam; and son in law, Dale Posey. Wanda is survived by her son, Danny Wilbanks and wife, Donna of Caryville, TN; daughters, Sandy Posey of Norris, TN, Gale Hatmaker and husband, Richard of Lake City, TN; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Wanda’s graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Island Ford Baptist Church cemetery in Lake City, TN with Rev. Donald Allen officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
