Carol Summers

Virginia Carol Summers, age 84, of Clinton, TN passed away on September 1, 2025, in Oak Ridge, TN Carol was born on May 21, 1941, to the late Claude and Ida Hatmaker.

Carol was a member of Blowing Springs Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandbabies and enjoyed scrapbooking. Carol was an avid child of God. She was a prayer warrior and loved attending church and talking about the Lord.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband Claude Summers. She is survived by her son Richard Summers and wife Kim; daughter Tina Kinser and husband Dan; sisters Grace Barns and Velma Poyour; grandchildren Christopher Summers and Aleisha, Chelsey Morris and Daniel and Cody Kinser and Tarra; great grandchildren, Kylee Harmon and Zach, Natalee and Lily Summers, Everly and Emmalynn Morris, Bryson and Aiden Stanfield and Avery Kinser.

 Family and friends will gather on September 3, 2025, at Jones Mortuary for a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service following at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN with Rev. David White officiating.
