Virginia Nelson

Virginia Nelson, age 89 of Clinton, Tn. entered her heavenly home on Friday, August 16, 2024. Waiting her heavenly arrival was her husband, Everette (Quack) Nelson; son, Terry Nelson; parents, H.H. and Daisy Singleton; brothers, William, Ben and Lawrence Singleton; sisters, Bonnie Henderson, Louise Dagley and Mildren Sweet.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Tammy Nelson and fiancé; grandsons, Eric Nelson (Pam), Ryan Nelson (Beth); grand-daughter, Kristen (Rob); great-grandchildren, Lilly, Knox, Chloe, Macie, Cole and Madison; very special friend who Virginia thought the world of, Sgt. Matt Howell of the Clinton Police Department and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Tennova Hospital in Powell, Norris Health & Rehab and Tennova Hospice. Also, Carrie Henderson Sells for taking care of her great aunt while in the nursing home.

Virginia’s family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the Jones Mortuary Chapel. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Sulfridge from Second Baptist Church officiating.
