Obituary of Veneda Irene Grimes

Veneda Irene Grimes, age 89 of Jacksboro, TN formerly a residence of Oneida, TN for 89 years. She was raised in the Tunnel Hill Community. Veneda was a local business owner for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leamon and Millie Phillips; husbands, Jennings Watters and Lawrence Grimes; and 7 siblings.

Veneda is survived by her sons, Steve Watters and wife LaDonna of Andersonville, TN, and Larry Watters and wife Donna Gay of Jacksboro, TN; brother, Hertis Phillips and wife Terri of Oneida, TN; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great - great grandchildren; stepchildren, Jim Grimes and Gale Grimes.

At Veneda's request all services will be private. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
