Sylvia Jane Ghormley

Sylvia Jane Ghormley, age 84 TN passed away on Monday May 26, 2025, in Clinton, TN. Sylvia was born in Hunningburg, Indiana on March 25,1941, to the late George and Vera Eckert. Sylvia was a loving mother and grandmother. She is now in the arms of Jesus.

Along with her parents Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband Waldo Ghormley; son Butch Ghormley; daughters Patricia Sue Ghormley; and Debra Kay Ghormley, brothers James Eckert, Jerry Marshall and Richard Marshall and infant brother and 1 Grandson and 1 great grandson; stepmother Annamay Eckert and stepfather Bill Marshall. Sylvia is survived by daughters, Penny Webster and Donny McCallister; Janie Pyle and husband Richard; brothers Billy Jo Marshall, Tom Eckert and Jimmy Ray Marshall. Sister Ruby Jo Barnett; sisters-in-law Pam Eckert and Karen Marshall; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
