Shannon Dwight Garner

Shannon Dwight Garner, Sr.  age 52 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Born on September 16, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennessee he was the son of the late Ralph H. Garner and Patsy Mitchell Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee.

In addition to his mother, Patsy Mitchell Smith, Shannon is survived by sons, Peyton Garner and Shannon D. Garner, Jr. both of Norris, Tennessee; brother, Von Ray Garner of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Kimberly Garner of Knoxville, Tennessee; grand-daughter, Ramona Garner; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Shannon will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023 in the Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, Tennessee with Rev. Jim Florea officiating.
