Russell Dwayne Wallace I

Russell Wallace age 49 of Clinton, TN passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his home in Clinton. He was a loving husband, father, and son. He liked playing pool, bowling, and loved spending time with his kids, and grandchildren. Russell was of the Baptist faith attending Second Baptist Church of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father James Wallace Sr.; brothers, James Wallace Jr., Sam Neeley and infant brother, Jonathan Wallace; sister, Nina Neeley; grandparents, Johnny and Viola Wallace and David and Mattie Garrett as well as three uncles. Russell is survived by his wife of 35 years, Thelma Wallace; mother, Patsy Neeley and Marvin; son, Russell Dwayne Wallace II and fiancé Jessica of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Yolanda Foust and Jimmy of Clinton, TN; Michelle Beukema and Mike of Clinton, TN; Sarah Sergent of Gaffney, SC; Kristy Lary of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Randy Wallace of Midtown, TN; Clayton Neeley of Florida; Billy Norman of Rocky Top, TN; sisters, Melinda Santell and Tido of Florida; Aquella Hensley and Joey of Clinton, TN; Patti Fahling and Mark of Gaffney, SC; 19 grandchildren , 5 great grandchildren; step mother, Jeannie Wallace of Andersonville, TN as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Russell’s family will receive his friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with his funeral to follow at 8 pm with Rev. Mike Thompson officiating. Russell’s interment will be Wednesday, September 2,2015 at 2 pm. Family will meet at Jones Mortuary at 1:30 pm for the funeral procession to Burris cemetery in Rocky Top, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jones Mortuary.
