Roy Leon Ezell

Roy Leon Ezell, age 62 of Heiskell, TN, passed away on June 21, 2026. He was of the Baptist faith. Leon retired from the Anderson County School System where he worked as a janitor at Fairview Elementary School. Leon loved his job. He had no children of his own but considered the kids at the school his. Leon loved to garden and his cat "Little Bit." He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. 

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Ezell and Marie Ezell Foust and sister, Barbara Ezell. He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Beason, Juanita Davis, twin sisters Brenda Faye Williams and Linda Kay Stokes, Darlene Simonds, and Elizabeth Yarber as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Leon's family will hold a Memorial Service on July 25, 2026. Please check back for the updated time and location. This information will be announced as soon as it is available.
