Ora Maxine Lansford

It is with a heavy heart that heaven gains another angel. Ora Maxine Keatts Lansford of Clinton, TN born in Dover, TN in 1935 passed away August 19, 2026, at the young age of 91 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Leroy. Also, her father and mother, Clifford and Mattie Keatts; her brothers, Oscar and Benny.

She leaves behind her 4 beautiful daughters, Lisa, Kendra, Monica & Belinda; 5 grandchildren, Rachel, Kristin, Matthew, Cynthia, & Brian; 2 great grandchildren, Nathan & Gage; 4 great-great grandchildren, Emilio, Sebastin, Sofia, & Ivory. That makes 5 generations of her family. She will be dearly missed by her longtime best friends Joyce and Patty.

We would like to give an extra special thanks to Matthew her grandson who watched over her and cared for her these last 6 years. Also, we deeply appreciate the compassionate care of Covenant hospice nurses, Tasha and Rebecca, that provided care and comfort to Maxine in her final weeks on this earth.

In lieu of flowers we would ask that you make a monetary gift for funeral expenses. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1-3pm at Jones Mortuary.
