Millie L. Hendrix Beets, age 96, passed away on Monday May 19, 2025, in Clinton, TN. Millie was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with her family, reading and loved her flower garden.

Mille traveled extensively, living in other countries due to her husband’s Military Career. She was employed by Community Action in Clinton for 15 years and enjoyed doing volunteer work.

Millie is preceded in death by her husband Fred L. Beets, parent’s H.L. Hendrix and Stella Braden Hendrix. Sisters Artie Smith, Della Wilcox. Brothers Carl Hendrix, Floyd Hendrix and Leon Hendrix. Millie is survived by her daughters Sharon Battle and Linda Golden of Clinton TN. Son Eddie Beets and wife Debi of Clinton, TN. Grandchildren Ashley Battle and Melinda Fisher, Margaret and Joe Gore, Brian Mayes, Leslie Hutson, Jordan and lacy Beets and Tanner Beets and Meagen. 16 Great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. And special Nephew John Hatfield and wife Lisa along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm and Thursday May 22, 2025, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with the funeral service following at 8 pm with Pastor Bill Boggs officiating. Family and friends will meet at Jones Mortuary on Friday My 23, 2025 at 9 am to go in procession to Foust Cemetery for a 10 am graveside service.
