Mary Ruth Byrge

Mary Ruth Byrge, age 76 of Rocky Top, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee following a period of declining health. Mary was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Born in Lafollette, Tennessee on January 30, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Diance and Odessa Hood Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Byrge.

Mary is survived by her sons, Hobert Dewayne Byrge and wife Debra Sue of New Tazewell, Tennessee and Michael Byrge of Rocky Top, Tennessee; her brothers, Terry Miller and wife Donna of Lafollette, Tennessee and Danny Miller of Jacksboro, Tennessee; her sisters, Sandra Gross of Rocky Top, Tennessee, Lucille Kennedy of Clinton, Tennessee and Cindy Jordan of Jacksboro, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary.
