Kathy Lou Ann Rhea, age 65 of Clinton, TN., passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2026 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was born on December 16, 1960 in Jellico, TN to her late parents, Jesse and Wanda Kennedy. She was a loving mother who loved to spend time at the beach and viewing beautiful light houses. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music, and was known for being a very creative and crafty person.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by the father to her children, Russell Rhea, and brother Darryl Kennedy.

Helen is survived by her son Cody Rhea (Kasi) of Oliver Springs, TN.; daughter, Chelsea Rhea (Bryant Brumitt) of Clinton, TN; sisters, Doris Martin ( Mike) of Andersonville, TN., Debbie McCallister of Clinton, TN., grandchildren, Barrett, and Baylor Rhea; Nieces, Amy Wyrick, Beth Disney; and family friend, Jessica Duncan.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN. Her Celebration of Life will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. David White and Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating. Her graveside service will be on Friday, June 19, 2026, 11:00am at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN.
