Jay Allen Major has gone to be with the Lord. He was a long time tool maker. Loved music and singing, had a wonderful voice. Hobbies were clocks, many different kind. Also loved birds especially hummingbirds watching and feeding them. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Major; brothers, Jan, Wayne Major; sisters, Jo Ellen Brown, Donna Morton. Companion Betty Freels of 38 years.
Survived by daughters, Kimberly Sharp, Vicki Rayfield (Doug); brother, Steve Major; sister, Margret Ann Major; grandsons, Javin Green(Love), Brian Rayfield(Amber), Beau Rayfield; granddaughter, Jayce Sharp; great grand children, Brooke Justes(Colby), Katelyn Rayfield, Myles Rayfield and Ophelia Green as well as many friends and family, that all loved him.
