James Sharp

James Paul Sharp, age 66 of Clinton TN, passed away on Sunday December 23, 2012 at his residence. James loved his family and his grandchildren were his life. He enjoyed the simple things that God created, and whittling with wood. James grew up in the goose neck area and was proud to say he was from there. He left a testimony of finding the Lord at a young age, and he was ready to meet the Lord. James was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Ruth Sharp and his brother, Harley Edgar Sharp. He is survived by his son, Paul Sharp & Kristin of Powell, TN; daughter, Teresa Harmon & David of Heiskell, TN; brothers, Larry "Coon" Sharp & his wife Carolyn and Jack Sharp & his wife Robin all of Clinton, TN; sisters, Dot Burris of Norris, TN, Angie Price and Susie Riggs both of Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Emily Harmon (Papaw's Little Chicken), Molly Harmon (Little Buddy), and Tylor Sharp (Little Hoss). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. James' family will receive his friends Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 6 PM - 8 PM in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with his funeral service immediately following with Rev. Charlie Marlow and Rev. Brian Thomas officiating. James' interment will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11 AM at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Andersonville, TN.
