Hazel P Kimble

Hazel Phillips Kimble, age 88 of Clinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Hazel was born in Anderson County to the late Harrison and Martha Jane Carroll Phillips. She loved the Lord and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Clinton for over 50 years. She retired from Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge where she worked for 23 years. Hazel enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, sewing, and picking the guitar with her friends at the Anderson County Senior Center.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Jones; second husband, Dewey Kimble; brother, Jerome Phillips; sisters, Rosie Jeffers, Hannah Reighn; grandson, Michael Kimble, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela (Terry) Hammac; son, Michael (Mary) Kimble; grandson, Matthew (Cheryl) Baird; granddaughters, Stephenie (Jody) Raines, Rachelle (Kenny) Mattison; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 13, 2025, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary starting at 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with the funeral service following at 7:00 pm with Wayne Justice officiating. Family will gather at Grandview Memorial Garden in Clinton, TN on Saturday June 14, 2025, at 10:00 am for a graveside service.
