Gwendolyn Eve Hudson, 66, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 3, 2026. She is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior and has been reunited with her beloved son, Tiras.
Eve was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially spoiling her precious grandchildren, Camden and Norah. She also had a special love for her cherished dog, Aslan.
A dedicated member of First Apostolic Church of Knoxville, Eve faithfully served the Lord throughout her life. Having come to know Christ through the church’s bus ministry, she remained a steadfast and devoted saint. She faithfully served as a greeter and was a blessing to the ministries of First Apostolic Church, Apostolic Christian School, and Apostolic Kiddie Academy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gwendolyn Yvonne Goodson, and her beloved son, Tiras Hudson.
Eve is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Hudson of Knoxville, TN; her son, Taylor Hudson and wife, Kaylee, of Denver, Colorado; her daughter, Tiara Hudson of Knoxville, TN; her brothers, Victor Goodson and wife, Yvette, of Morristown, TN, and Derek Goodson and wife, Michelle, of Murfreesboro, TN; her sister, Angela Hendrickson of Morristown, TN; and her treasured grandchildren, Camden and Norah Hudson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Apostolic Church in Knoxville, TN. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Mark McCool and Pastor Anthony McCool. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.
