Rev. Glenn Grisham age 73 of Andersonville, TN went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Glenn was an outstanding and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was very caring, giving, and always put others before his self. Glenn was a very hard worker and always provided for his family. He had a good sense of humor and never met a stranger. Glenn enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cutting firewood. He loved the Lord, was firm in his belief and a member of Lone Mountain Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Mary Grisham; brothers, Kenneth Grisham, Ronnie Grisham, Robert Grisham, and Millard Charles “Bud” Grisham Jr; and sister, Alma “Peachy” Williams.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 47 years, Louise Grisham of Andersonville, TN; sons, Tracy Grisham of Andersonville, TN, Chris “Bubba” Grisham of Andersonville, TN; daughter, MaryAnn Cooper and husband, Brian of Andersonville, TN; brothers, Floyd Grisham and wife, Pat of Heiskell, TN, Jimmy Grisham and wife, Carol of Clinton, TN; sister, Mildred Edmonds of Heiskell, TN; grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Ashley, Nathan, Amber, and Megan Grisham, Stephanie, and Blakely Stooksbury, Kirkland, Sarah, and Emily Cooper; great grandchildren, Riley, Aubree, and Jayden. He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Glenn’s family will receive his friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Glenn’s funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Lone Mountain Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN with Rev. James Hamock, Rev. Eddie Bridges, and Rev. Archie Seiber officiating. His interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Heiskell, TN following his funeral service. Glenn’s pallbearers will be Tyler Grisham, John “Potsie” Bell, James Ed Bell, Kenneth Childress, Adam Childress,Scott Stooksbury, Eddie Childress, and Nathan Grisham. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
