Obituary of Clyde Campbell Cox

Clyde Cox age 56 of Lake City, TN passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Tennova North Medical Center in Powell, TN. He was a loving husband and the best brother. Clyde loved to help people and would do anything for them. He enjoyed watching movies and loved his dog, Wally. Clyde was a very hard worker. He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Beech Grove, TN.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Rose Cox; brother, Ronnie Walker; and sister, Thelma (Cokie) Chase.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Lisa Cox of Lake City, TN; sisters, Maggie Fumick and husband Joe of Ohio, Wilma Cox of Ohio, Diane Cox and Darrell West of Oliver Springs, TN; sister in laws, Margaret Rogers and husband Danny of Lake City, TN and Connie Jones and husband Paul of Lake City, TN; brohter-in-law Johnny Adkins; nephew, Josh Dotson andseveral nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Clyde's family will receive his friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Sunday, September 22, 2019 with his funeral service to follow at 8:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Clyde's interment will be at 11:00am on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
