Bobby Summers

Bobby Summers age 70 of Clinton, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed working in his garden. Bobby always made people laugh, and would help anybody. He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, R.L. Summers Sr. and Nancy; son, John Summers; brothers, R.L. Summers Jr., Leroy “Hot Shot” Summers; father in law, Sillis LaMarr; brother in law, Charles Beets. Bobby is survived by his wife, Linda Summers of Clinton, TN; daughters, Marjorie McKee (Bobby) of Knoxville, TN, Barbara Hatchett & Larry Hatfield of Knoxville, TN, Betty Summers of Clinton, TN; sister, JoAnn Beets of Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Patrick McKee, Lindsey McKee, Reed Hatchett, Ryan Hatchett, Dale Summers, Katie Summers; great grandson, Naythan McKee; mother in law, Betty LaMarr Allen of Clinton, TN; son in law, Richard Hatchett of Knoxville, TN; brother in law, Frank LaMarr (Kaye) of Lebanon; sisters in law, Fonda Bledsoe (Emanuel) of Lebanon, Carolyn LaMarr of Knoxville, TN, Hazel Summers of Clinton, TN, Rita Summers of Clinton, TN, all of his fishing buddies, and a host of other relatives and friends. Bobby’s family will receive his friends on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with is celebration of life following at 8:00 with Bro. Robert Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
