Billy Ray Swopshire

Billy Ray Swopshire age 57 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026. He attended Freeway Church of God. Billy enjoyed the outdoors and was a wheeler & dealer. He always had big ideas. Billy was willing to help anyone and give the shirt off his back. He was a loving father and will be deeply missed. Billy is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Swopshire and brother, Hercules Trammell. 

Billy is survived by his daughter, Samantha Eubanks and her fiancé, Tucker Fields; brother & sister-in-law, Roy & Kathy Shelton; brother-in-law and best friend, Rick Garner, and brother-in-law, Arnold Garner; brothers, Ernest and Roy Trammell as well as his faithful pet companion and best friend, Rusty.

Memorial service for Billy will be Saturday, July 11, 2026, 2:00pm at Farmer's Grove Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. His interment will follow after his memorial service. Jones Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Billy Ray Swopshire.
