Zora Braden

Zora Braden age 88 of Briceville, TN passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Zora was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved animals and being outdoors. Zora was a member of Indian Bluff Baptist Church in Briceville, TN. Zora was preceded in death by her parents, Wheeler and Artensie Daugherty; husband, Verlin Braden, daughter, Elizabeth Huskey, and son, Danny Joe Braden. Zora is survived by her sons, Edward Braden & wife, Wilma of Oliver Springs, TN, Freddie Braden & wife, Cindy of Briceville, TN, Timmy Braden of Briceville, TN, Bruce Braden & wife, Patricia of Briceville, TN, Bradley Braden & wife, Brenda of Rocky Top, TN; brothers, L.D. Daugherty of OH, Everette Daugherty & wife, Pat of Clinton, TN; sister, June Spangler of Knoxville, TN; 23 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Zora’s family will receive her friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 12 noon – 1 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Zora’s graveside service will follow her visitation at Indian Bluff Baptist Church cemetery in Briceville, TN with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
